Born from a natural desire to create and craft, Maya Stepper’s work shapeshifts through different materials and objects. With a background in industrial design and many years working in fashion, her eye has been traveling and collecting knowledge and inspiration between art and wardrobe. Past projects include collaborative designs published in Vogue and painted glass bottle sculptures exhibited in Taschen Gallery in Los Angeles. In 2024 she studied goldsmithing and a year later worked on her first collection of silver jewelry objects. All her work is hand-sculpted by herself in her studio in NYC, using raw and recycled material.

Maya Stepper was born in the Black Forest in Germany, but has called NYC home since 2019.
